Busy Mom's Easy Lasagna

Because honestly who doesn’t love lasagna? It isn’t anywhere need healthy and fit, but it’s all about balance, right? So, my first pick of delicious lasagna would be homemade (always a winner). But the time and effort that takes just isn’t very appealing. My second runner up would be Stouffers because its super simple and quite tasty…… This recipe falls in between the two, but doesn’t lack anywhere when it comes to flavor. It isn’t full blown homemade lasagna, but also isn’t quite a frozen dinner meal either. All about balance again. You only need a few ingredients and it is so so good.

What you need:
1 lb ground beef (or chicken/turkey)
1 onion diced
1 bag of frozen cheese ravioli’s
1 jar of Ragu  Marinara
1/3 cup Pace Picante Sauce
1 TBSP minced Garlic
2 Cups shredded Mozzeralla
1 Cup Mexi-mix Cheese

What you do:
Pre-heat oven to 400

* In a pan with a little bit of olive oil, brown the onion until it begins to become translucent. Then add in the ground beef and salt & pepper to taste. Once beef is fully cooked, drain the grease.

*Add the garlic, salsa and marinara to the ground beef and simmer for 5 minutes.

*In a 13x9 dish spread a thin amount of the meat mixture over the bottom. Line the bottom of the dish with a single layer of the ravioli’s. Next layer half of the beef mixture, then a layer of half the shredded cheese.Repeat layers with the remaining.

*Cover with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes.

When you take it out of the oven let it set for 10 minutes, the cheese will be hot and bubbly. Then Enjoy!
