Busy Mom - Thanksgiving Meal Plan

Notice anything different? Yep, I did a re-design of my Meal Plan. As with everything in my life, I like bright pretty colors and I like it to be fun, because let’s be honest, we are more likely to actually use something the more we like it. I don’t mind meal planning, actually enjoy it, but I wanted to make it prettier and funner (yes, funner). Plus I print my Meal Plan each week so this looks a lot nicer hanging on my fridge.

Our CORE DE FORCE TEST GROUP kick started this week with Prep, I was too excited to try the workouts though, so I got a head start and have been doing them all week with my On Demand. Haha! The workout that my abs are getting without having to do sit-ups is AMAZING! I seriously see some changes happening after just a week!

But we all know that abs are made in the kitchen, it’s true. So working on our Meal Plans in the group this week was a lifesaver. It’s nice to see what others are eating and to bounce ideas and recipes off of each other. If you haven’t ever done a Meal Plan before, SUBSCRIBE to my blog and you can see mine each week for ideas. Or even better SEND ME A MESSAGE and I can help you work on yours.

We all know it’s TURKEY DAY this week, which wasn’t too hard to plan for, but I am getting it done early because along with my meal prep I need to plan and prep for our family dinner. One advantage to hosting dinner is I can through in some healthy sides that I can indulge in and still stick to my goals! Through the holidays It’s more of a goal to just maintain where I am healthy and feeling good, that in itself is a HUGE Accomplishment. I just plan accordingly and balance it all out.

Balance is the magic word, I know that I want ROLLS at dinner (my guilty pleasure) and a piece of pie. Other than that everything else can fit right along in my meal plan! I know that I can skip a carb here and there leading up to it and be completely fine. And I most definitely know that if I'm going to be eating a bit extra I'll be sure to get my sweat session on that morning. Balance.
