Why I moved my Beachbody Business to Pinterest

Why Pinterest? First let me give a little background, I previously did Beachbody Coaching and was pretty successful at it, not enough that I was quitting my full time job, but enough that I was making a decent second income and I was really enjoying helping other woman. My main and only form of reaching out was Facebook. I had a blog then but didn’t hardly use it. Facebook took A LOT of constant work. I spent a lot of time posting and following up with people and just tons of work to show people what I had to offer. It wasn’t too much work, but it was a lot.

I stopped doing it for about 2 years now, went through a separation and a whole mess of things and just needed a break. I’ve settled my life and wanted to get back into doing something I really enjoyed that was a positive impact on my life and others. I didn’t want the constant need to be on Facebook and posting, aside from in my Accountability groups. That’s where Pinterest comes in. I’m a mom of 2 wild ones that are constantly running wild. I want to do Beachbody because I enjoy it, but don’t want to have to put so much effort into asking people if they are ready.

My thoughts on Pinterest is that it will be working, even when I’m not. Facebook is the home for my Accountability Groups, but Pinterest will be where people find me to connect. Pinterest is pretty much a Google search engine for pictures and ideas. It’s pictures and ideas that bring you to blog associated with what you are looking for. Pins go on and on forever and don’t get old. Pins can be saved anytime and gone back to and looked at any time. On FB one post lasts a day and then it’s gone, you consistently and constantly must keep up with it. Using Pinterest and a blog, one blog post can last months with people pinning and visiting your site.

The other benefit is when someone finds me on Pinterest, it’s because they are looking for what I can offer. That’s one step closer to being ready. It’s them simply filling out my form to chat and going from there.

Previously where FB was my hub now my blog will be my hub and I’ll grow my business from here.
