CLEANING OUT THE FRIDGE MEAL PLAN

When I first started Meal Planning I felt really overwhelmed, especially after making my shopping list for the first week. I wasn’t sure I could afford to eat healthy. It took some debating and contemplating before I finally made it to the store and bought all I needed….. I knew deep inside that I had to start eating better and that there had to be easy ways to make it work. AND GUESS WHAT, After the first week it got easier and CHEAPER!

The part that many people don’t think about and what I didn’t think about was that you don’t have to buy EVERYTHING every week. Things like almonds, sunflower seeds, chicken, tortillas, popcorn, oil, vinegar, brown rice and so on, you don’t but every week. They last a few weeks before you have to buy more. There are a lot of servings in each pack when you are eating the right portions. So the first trip may seem like a lot but after that it evens right out. You’ll find that for the most part the only things you ae buying every week are the fresh fruit and veggies you’ll eat. You begin to have a little stock pile variety of food in your cupboard and freezer so some week you may hardly need to shop at all. That’s where I’m at this week.

When I buy chicken I buy a big pack and then divide it and freeze it into smaller packs at home. So this week I’m using some of that chicken I have, I also already have some tuna, frozen veggies, almonds & sunflower seeds, and yogurt. I have my shakes, had to pick up almond milk, I already have bananas that I froze from last week. With everything I could pretty much piece together what I had with just a few things I needed.

I also know that we are working on moving into our new house in the evenings this week, so dinners with the family will be on the fly, burgers, pizza, hot dogs and a crockpot meal. It makes it the perfect week to do a CLEAN OUT THE FREEZER MEAL PLAN!

It’s so easy, if I go do it you can do it. There is no need to over complicate meal planning. Let me help show you how easy it is. Leave a comment below and we can make you a plan for next week!

Why & How you will reach your Goals!

Ever heard of an Accountability Group? A what??? My thoughts exactly when I first heard of it. What is this, what do they do, whats the point? An Accountability or Challenge Group is a means to SUCCESS! It is a group of individuals all working towards the same goals as you! We all want to live a healthier life and know that it isn’t easy and is rarely done alone. In the group we all come together to support and motivate one another. We share our victories and successes together as well as times when we are struggling and need that extra push. We push the positive about getting healthy and fit rather than being shamed for it. We celebrate each victory and build our successes off each other.

Everything in our group is private and stays between us. It creates a nice sense of community without having to feel uncomfortable. You are able to share as much or as little as you would like. You get the convenience of being able to workout in the privacy of your own home at a time that works for you and still you are able to connect with others doing the same. Our groups are small little communities, with a sense of belonging. You look forward to the connection and checking in that you did your workout and followed your meal plan each day.

Does a Group sound like something you need or would like? Are you looking for accountability? Are you ready to make a change? Leave your email below and we can chat about my upcoming groups and programs! CLICK HERE and fill out the form. It's time.

Fall Into Your Fit !

Finding your Fit and groove when it comes to getting on track with a healthy lifestyle can be hard. Finding balance between real life where there are donuts and sweets and carbs and all kinds of of temptations EVERYWHERE is hard. Finding the motivation to get a workout in after a long day is hard.
We all no it's hard, what's even harder is trying to start and keep that healthy lifestyle on your own. It's hard to stay accountable to yourself, it's hard to keep yourself motivated, and it's hard to stick with it.

Here is the shocker, you DONT have to do it alone, there are others struggling just the same. We can support each other. We can motivate each other. We can hold each other accountable. The only thing missing is YOU, we are all here.

I struggle myself still, but I keep at it, I leverage the support from my group and the accountability I have to them and being a coach. Half my reason for coaching is because I know I will stick with it with having other people counting on me. Where as if I was still doing it on my own I would have found a million excuses for why it was okay to give up. Commit to a group that won't let you quit.

It's time to FALL INTO YOUR FIT. My next group will begin September 26th and I would LOVE for you to be a part of it! Then in our group we will talk about our WHY, make goals, create Meal Plans and do everything we need to in order to be SUCCESSFUL. You are ready for a change and I have it! You'll get a workout program of your choice. (30 minutes a day, that's it) You'll get access to our exclusive group mobile app, a super food shake each day, one on one coaching, and the SUPPORT ACCOUNTABILITY AND MOTIVATION of a group working towards the same goals as you!

Make Time Now - Save Time Later

A crazy busy weekend means missing a few things I had planned to day, it happens. One thing I’m glad I found time for is my meal plan and some prep. It really is a quick step that makes the entire week so much easier for not just me, but the whole family.

The little one has immensely picked up on my healthy habits, she looks forward to our workouts and helping me to portion or foods. And having our dinners for the week already planned out is a big help! I know what meats I need out of the freezer and I know what I need to pick up at the store. It saves me money because I’m not buying a bunch of random thing with no plan, and half the time they won’t even get eaten.

And I’m no queen couponer, but knowing ahead of time when I got to the store what I’ll by, what coupons I have and all makes it so I can buy meats and such and plan meals around what’s on sale that week for plan for the next week. It sounds like it would take a ton of time, but it really doesn’t once you get in a rhythm.

Meal Planning for a Busy Mom

My number one most asked question would probably be “How do you do it, how do you find time?” My answer, I PLAN! I am a habitual list maker and have fallen in love with planning too. When I go to bed on Sunday night knowing that I have a plan for whats going on that week, I know what I’m eating for lunches, I know what I’m making for dinner, I know what activities we are doing, EVERYTHING! It makes me feel good, I feel PREPARED and my week goes ten times better.  I am a busy momma, I work full time, have a kiddo, am building my business and I am a student. It gets hectic here and there and late nights happen, but it’s almost inevitable. You have to work hard now so you can play later.

Now I get it, life happens and things don’t always go as planned but it’s so easy to work around things when the time comes if you are just moving your plan around a bit, rather than flying by the seat of your pants in the first place.

STEP ONE of my planning is seeing what we have going on that week, if it’s nothing crazy, I’m golden. My kiddo is still young so I don’t have to plan for sports practices and such yet. BUT you can believe I’ll have a calendar and schedule for it when the time comes. :]  I plan our family meals first, it’s easier for me to plan what they are eating and then when I make my meal plan I can plan mine around what I’m already cooking for them. Make sense?

For the family I plan 4 meals. My family is easy and will usually do a night with pizza, a night out and left-over night. Which is nice cause I don’t have to make a big dinner every night. I take this menu, print it each week, write in what my plan is and HANG IT ON THE FRIDGE! Hanging it on the fridge helps keep me rocking cause I know what I’m cooking that evening and it let’s the other half know what he’ll be eating without having to go back and forth a million times asking him what he wants and him saying he doesn’t care. Sound similar? Send me a message or leave a comment and I can send you this template if you like it!

From there I can make my meal plan. Meal planning at first for me was very overwhelming, but once you get the hang of it and in the groove of what works for you it goes quick. I fill in the things that I know of, for instance I KNOW I will drink my SHAKEOLOGY every day and I know what times of day I drink it depending on if I’m at home on the weekend. Then I go day-by-day and build my plan. I eat a little of eat food group following the 21 Day Fix meal plan. Here it is for this week!

I can honestly say the 21 Day Fix plan really changed my life and eating habits. I found it to be a healthy clean eating diet that left wiggle room for me to eat real life foods that I craved here and there. It’s well balanced and very maintainable for a lifestyle. It’s eating more fresh foods and less processed without being overly-restrictive. Leave a comment below and we can chat about making a meal plan for you! It is so much easier and more beneficial than you think!
