Girl, stay gone

The hardest part isn't the leaving, it’s the staying gone. In the moment of leaving every moment why is in your head, every bad memory every fight, all the things. It’s easy to stay gone in those moments. 

It’s in the weeks later, where you ponder it all and wonder what’s right. Where you find a glimmer of hope in that they will change. When you are alone and just don't want to be alone.

Stay gone. You've been there and done it a million times. It isn't about 'growing together' when only one person wants to grow.

Stay gone. It isn't about the years you’ve been together when all those years you've been caring the relationship on your own.

Stay gone. It isn't about all you've been through together. The struggles and fight that people talk about getting through together aren't struggles and fights internal to the relationship. The struggle should be the two of you against the world, not against each other.

Stay gone. Because you simply deserve better. You deserve not to wake up with anxiety. You deserve to be loved. You are enough. The hardest part is to stay gone as you fight the thoughts that maybe that’s all there is. But it isn't.

You are not alone. Get outside of your circle. Accept that you'll lose friendships. Do what is

necessary to keep your sanity and create your own happiness. Let go of caring what people think and don't waste your breath on telling your side. Don't expect friends to choose sides. Expect people to continue on with their lives.

Every moment you spend talking about it and trying to reason is wasted energy reliving

situations that you don't want to see again.

Stay gone. Dive into something else. Find some books. Take a class. Excel at work. Go do

something away from it all. Breathe fresh air. Get your mind right.

You are strong. You can do this. You will be better for it. You aren't alone.
